Product Overview

ESD Event Detectors are sophisticated monitoring instruments that detect and characterize actual electrostatic discharge events — the invisible electrical pulses that cause component damage. Unlike field meters that measure static charge, event detectors capture the transient discharge waveform: its rise time, peak current, duration, and polarity. This enables root-cause analysis of ESD failures and identification of specific process steps that generate high-risk discharge events.

Propack ESD Event Detectors are available as portable single-channel units for point-source investigation and as multi-channel networked systems for continuous production monitoring. All models support PC connectivity with event waveform capture software for comprehensive ESD failure analysis and process improvement.

Event Counter & Logger

Counts ESD events per hour/shift/day with timestamp. Identifies production steps with highest ESD event frequency for targeted corrective action.

Real-Time Alerts

Audible and visual alarm when event frequency exceeds user-defined threshold. Optional relay output for production line pause in high-risk scenarios.

Multi-Channel Monitoring
