The Body Voltage Meter measures the electrostatic charge generated on personnel — a critical measurement for ensuring operators are not bringing dangerous static voltages into your ESD protected area. Human body model (HBM) ESD events from charged personnel remain one of the leading causes of latent and catastrophic device damage in electronics manufacturing.
Propack Body Voltage Meters are available as compact handheld units for operator self-testing and as fixed-panel mounted monitors for continuous supervisory monitoring at workstations. The instrument provides direct readout in volts, with programmable PASS/FAIL limits and audible alert for non-compliant readings.
