Product Overview
ESD Bags are the primary packaging solution for protecting sensitive electronic components during storage, inter-facility transfer, and customer shipment. Propack supplies three main bag types: metallised shielding bags (4-layer construction with Faraday cage effect), moisture barrier bags (for humidity-sensitive components), and pink/black anti-static poly bags for general ESD-safe storage.
Our metallised shielding bags meet ANSI/ESD S11.4 for ESD shielding and MIL-PRF-81705 Type III for moisture protection. They are available in open-top (heat-sealable), zip-lock, and round-bottom configurations, with customisable printing for part numbers, warning labels, and brand marking.
Key Features
4-Layer Shielding Construction
Outer dissipative layer → metallised aluminium → polyethylene → inner dissipative layer. Provides Faraday cage shielding plus mechanical protection.
Moisture Barrier Option
MBB (Moisture Barrier Bag) variant with WVTR <0.01 g/m²/day. Protects MSL components from moisture ingress during long-term storage or international transit.
Custom Printing
Printed with part number, ESD warning symbol, caution text, or brand name. Minimum print run quantities available. Up to 4-colour printing.
Multiple Closure Types
Open-top heat-sealable, resealable zip-lock, and self-seal adhesive strip options. Tamper-evident closure for high-value component security.
Transparent Window
Select variants include a clear polyester window for visual content inspection without opening the bag — prevents unnecessary opening and re-handling.
RoHS & REACH Compliant
All bag materials comply with RoHS 2.0, REACH, and EU packaging regulations. Halogen-free options available on request for environmentally sensitive supply chains.
